My version of busy

Most weeks I don’t bother checking my diary for the upcoming week until first thing Monday morning because I figure there’s no need to unnecessarily stress oneself, plus ignorance is bliss, right? Well this week there’s no hiding from the chaos. Wish me luck amigos – hope you have an eventful one too!

In the diary: I’ve got Melbourne in my sights this week. I’ll be there for a couple of days and in that time I’ll be doing a speaking gig for Accenture (love these guys – they’re a Silver Partner to Business Chicks and really ‘get’ partnering) and also running a Business Chicks Networking Night. The next day I’ll be in a shoot with the dream team – Gina Milicia who’s the most extraordinary photographer (she recently promised to make me look like I’d had a full night’s sleep of which I’m doubtful) and Fotini Hatzis – hair and make-up artist to the stars (and me).

Off the charts: The next issue of Latte is shaping up to be fab! Truly, if you’re female and you work, then there’s no reason why this mag is not your quarterly bible. It’s packed with incredible women telling incredible stories and the upcoming issue (Spring 2012) is shaping up to be our best yet. Latte‘s only available to Premium Business Chicks members so if you’re not yet in the loop, sign up here.

On my mind: Last week we rented out our home. New tenants move in this coming Saturday, and we’ve got nowhere to go just yet (yep, cutting it just a tad fine!). So I’ll be tripping over boxes and packing up the entire contents of the house somewhere in between my workload and travel commitments (and wondering where we’re going to be living next. Will keep you posted!)

Over the moon: My beautiful colleague and right hand woman Olivia got engaged on her recent holiday to the States (on her birthday no less). I am stoked for Liv (pictured below), and can’t wait to support her as she plans her big day.

What’s in the diary/off the charts/on your mind for you this week or better still, what are you over the moon about?
